A U.S.based company that is working on creating a cloud data platform that offers cloudoptimized data warehousing services is looking for a Data Scientist/Data Analyst. The selected candidate will use Snowpark Python to create effective Pyspark programming to address difficult issues. By removing data silos and streamlining architectures the companys unified platform helps users extract more value from their data. The company has managed to secure more than $1.9bn in funding so far.
Job Responsibilities
Perform a thorough study of the data provided by the dataset
Pose insightful business queries in plain language that the data can handle
Write effective highquality Snowpark Python code to solve problems and respond to inquiries
Express the reasoning behind the code in a clear and understandable manner
Debugging programs and producing thorough documentation
Conduct peer code reviews and offer helpful criticism
Effectively communicate with researchers to comprehend their needs and share their findings
Essential Skills
Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist/Data Analyst
2 years of Pyspark experience
Some Snowpark experience Python is nice to have
Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
Strong business acumen and data analysis abilities to identify the key questions to ask the dataset provide meaningful answers and communicate the key findings in an organized manner
Outstanding interpersonal abilities to work well with researchers and stakeholders
Fluency in spoken as well as written English
