- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives.
- To secure competitive bids as required and requested.
- To initiate purchase requisitions as required and ensure the lowest cost consistent foods, beverages, materials, services, equipment, and supplies with required quality standards are procured on a timely basis.
- To identify local vendors and maintain working relationships with them whiles negotiating rates.
- Continuously comparison shop and negotiate to make sure FS gets the best possible prices on needed supplies.
- To verify information on dates and prices of goods.
- To help the storekeeper and ensure that hotel main stores are organized and all items is available in the stores according to the Min. and Max. Procedures.
- The ability to coordinate and participate in all month end and quarterly inventories of food, beverage, operating equipment and supplies.
- The ability to help in coordinating purchases related to capital projects.
- The ability to help in coordinating the annual operating equipment and supply requirements.
- To handle all market list items & create the PO’s for the Inventory Items and place the orders with the suppliers .
- To coordinate & cooperate with the Stores / Receiving regarding the day to day purchasing & receiving activity .
