- According to the program schedule, the Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric consultation, psychopharmacology services in IMC clinics.
- Ensure diagnosis and treatment regiments are consistent with ICD 10 and DSM-V criteria.
- Provide clear, concrete and measurable goals and objectives for each patient served.
- Ensure proper and accurate recording of prescription and dispensing of drugs in the psychiatric log book, the daily psychotropic dispensing record and in individual drug stock cards for each clinic session.
- Provide clinically appropriate follow-up for psychiatric patients as required based on the nature and severity of individual patients’ issues.
- Monitor drug inventory and Inform IMC of drugs that are low in stock.
- Act as the primary responsible party for the appropriate storage and inventory of the psychotropic drug stock at the clinics.
