Job Description
• Read and evaluate written text for grammatical and typographical errors.
• Compare typeset proofs against original copy to identify errors or omissions.
• Evaluate the dimensions of page elements such as images, text spacing, and positioning to ensure they conform to set specifications.
• Proofread/QC work.
• Monitor consistency of all material within the style and established guidelines.
• Rephrase written text to ensure document structure and content are consistent.
• Providing suggested grammatical & language edits when necessary.
• Resolve queries directly with the project manager (e.g. style/text/usage inconsistencies).
• Perform full read, word-for-word proofreading of materials before submitting them to the client.
