- Defining the sourcing strategy to ensure continuity of supply materials to meet production.
- Develop sound, cost effective strategies for purchasing of direct and indirect materials used in the business
- Development and implementation of Procurement strategies for all areas of business
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors. Prepare and report data as needed/requested to management.
- Work closely with Planning and similar functions to ensure understanding of specific material needs, associated quantities, and timing.
