Platform Infra Architect

Specific Requirements

• 10 years of overall IT / technical services experience with Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology
• Platform and infrastructure architecture experience Cloud Hybrid and Private hosting
• Excellent understanding of ITIL processes IT systems infrastructure and best practices.
• Project management experience in an infrastructure oriented environment
• Capable of working in a growth oriented environment with ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests projects and responsibilities
• Proven track record of leveraging vendor and consultant expertise for IT project delivery and support
• Strong analytical problem solving and judgement skills
• Leadership and Customer facing skills
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of the following technology areas:
  • Compute and Networking (LAN WAN WLAN)
  • Storage (SAN) and Backup
  • Virtualization (Server and Storage) Public Hybrid and Private clouds
  • Web Technology (Web Servers Application Servers Load Balancers)
  • Security technology and processes e.g. firewalls intrusion prevention compliance monitoring vulnerability management
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Capacity Planning
  • High Availability
• Well versed with Infrastructure financials operations
• Highlevel understanding of specific technologies:
  • Cloud Microsoft Azure AWS GCP or Oracle Cloud
  • Cisco UCS
  • Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems
  • Cisco Network Gear
  • EMC/3PAR
  • VMware / Oracle Virtualization
  • Veeam / Symantec NetBackup
• Preferred Skillset
  • VCP3/VCP4 certification
  • ITIL V3 Certification
  • MCSE CISSP CISA or CISM is plus.
