Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our team in an onsite (hybrid) role based primarily in Moline IL. This position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week onsite at the client facility. Remote candidates will not be considered. Local candidates from Davenport IA Milan IL or Moline IL are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in transitioning towards infrastructure as code. You will collaborate closely with our Infrastructure Engineers to devise innovative strategies for building a Digital Workspace Platform which will be utilized by other members of the Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop test and integrate/deploy highly complex software solutions leveraging DevOps principles.
  
• Utilize Rest APIs to facilitate seamless communication between various software components.
  
• Manage both relational (e.g. PostgreSQL MSSQL) and nonrelational databases (e.g. MongoDB Apache Cassandra Redis Couchbase Apache HBase).
  
• Demonstrate proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
  
• Employ scripting languages such as JavaScript (Node.js) Python and PowerShell to automate tasks and streamline processes.
  
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible Terraform Puppet and Salt to maintain infrastructure.
  
• Exhibit strong problemsolving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
  
• Show a passion for continual technical learning and contribute ideas for innovation within the team.
