Phyton Team Lead

Our client is looking for an experienced software engineer who would become a team leader of an engineering team of 10 people. The team is responsible for the development of internal tools at a big software company in particular on the HR management side. The role will be very hands-on and you would be responsible for technical leadership as much as for people management.

Techstack: Python (Django), Javascript/ Typescript (Svelte), Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD

Tasks

• Technical and disciplinary management of the existing team in coordination with the Head of Department
• Building your own team of software developers (m/f/d)
• Implementation of software projects from planning to regular operation
• Ensuring the availability and stability of our services
• Optimization of our developer tools and expansion of our automated release process (continuous integration, continuous deployment) and quality assurance (integration & unit testing)

Requirements

• strong technical experience in web software development in Python (Django)
• great if you bring DevOps knowledge and can work with Jenkins, Ansible, Linux
• experience of managing projects
• German C1, English B2
