Physician Hospitalist-OB

Position: Physician HospitalistOB

Travel Hire is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician HospitalistOB to join our team in Jacksonville FL. As a HospitalistOB you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide highquality care in a fastpaced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to the hospital including labor and delivery services

Conduct thorough patient evaluations order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans

Collaborate with other physicians nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records

Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions treatment options and preventive measures

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and protocols

Maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a HospitalistOB preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and highstress environment

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidencebased practices in obstetrics and gynecology

Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
