Project description:
We are looking for a performance engineer to work on a next-gen airborne electrical powertrain in a multidiciplinary project team. You are passionate about aviation and developing technologies for future mobility concepts? We are looking forward to your application!
Tasks:
- Define and support system validation activities including certification (EASA SC E19 subpart D)
- Close cooperation with the test engineers, simulation engineers and electrical machine experts
- Support propulsion unit or engine test preparation and commissioning activities
- Drive day to day decisions to ensure quick execution of tests and on-time delivery of results
- Derivation of datasets for a given test configuration: model development, derivation of operating points and timely release of required data for the different teams
- Provide detailed reports for certification purposes
Skills:
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years experience as performance engineer involved in test campaigns for R&D, validation and verification on electrical powertrain
- Able to coordinate tasks and interface with complex multidisciplinary team to deliver project (production, test engineers, specialists)
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills including past experience in root-cause analysis activities
- Very good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
- High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomous
- Fluent english skills also a plus would be:
- Knowledge in the area of electrical machine development
- Fluent German skills
