TheeTransit Reporting system is a greenfield web application being built forPennDOT s Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system usingthe latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud.
***This requisitions current PO is funded through 6/30/24 so use that date in the RTR. Contract end date is dependent on the final schedule and projected needs. Historically additional funding should then last a year and occur from 7/1/246/30/25.***

Theapplication will allow easier communication between PennDOT the FederalDepartment of Transit and public transit agencies within Pennsylvania whileenhancing lines of business and looking forward to future changes and systemsenhancements. Prospective initial deployment of the application is March 2025.
Candidates willwork under the direction of the project s Technical Lead and Application Architectto write test and document code to implement system features andenhancements.

Work details:
- Work hours are Monday Friday 8:30am 5:00pm excluding state holidays for a maximum of 40 hours/week. Lunch is 12:00 12:30. The contract assumes an additional 80 hours of unpaid leave in addition to the above per state fiscal year.
- Work location is majority remote; however selected candidates will be required to report IN PERSON for an interview at PennDOT s offices at 400 North Street 5th floor Harrisburg PA. Engaged candidates will also need to report IN PERSON to pick up equipment as part of onboarding and may be required to report for occasional inperson meetings or training.
- Selected candidates must provide a completed PATCH check and work authorization done at vendor expense prior to engagement.
- Onsite work location is a secured floor. Engaged candidates must bring a check or money order for $$$$$ payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the first day work to pay for a badge.
The agency does not provide parking.
