Payroll Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using payroll software.
• Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate wages deductions and adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll tax regulations.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations.
• Assist with payrollrelated projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Indepth knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
