Job Description :
- Market Surveys cropping patterns Quality and expected arrivals region/market wise.
- Close watch on Competitors activities on market presence pricing and quantity of procurement.
- Liaoning with government agencies related to rice value chain.
- Ensure best quality Paddy procurement at the .
- Advise the Management when to buy the Paddy/Rice from the market.
- Leading the team of Paddy Purchaser and cocoordinating on daily basis with them on arrival pattern
- pricing and competitors activities.
- Advising the management on the future market price for the Paddy.
- Plan the season for procurement and distributing the areas to the procurement supervisors.
- Develop more procurement centres pan Nigeria.
- Develop procurement strategy as per AOP and achieve given targets
- Expand LBA networks and build strong relationship with suppliers
- Ability to manage risks associated with funding and paddy procurement.
- Monitoring and control procurement budget.
- Ensure planned KPIs of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
- Conducting periodic reviews with plant management finance and quality on paddy procurement
- issues.
