Operations Executive Supply ChainLogistics

For our client operating within the wellbeing and health care field we are seeking to recruit an Operations Executive to join their team in in Malta. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating transportation warehousing and delivery operations all while maintaining positive relationships with key suppliers. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with company regulations and conducting ongoing analysis for process optimization.

Tasks

• Monitor and maintain records of current stock levels production and items in transit.
• Implement quality control procedures for products by coordinating analysis through thirdparty laboratories.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to discuss required quantities lead times and labeling changes.
• Validate invoices and proformas for accuracy in billing and production.
• Keep records updated promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Propose solutions to improve processes regarding lead times quality and pricing.
• Stay informed about warehouse status including delivery issues package breakages or product damage.
• Prepare documentation for deliveries between international hubs.
• Ensure adherence to warehousing procedures and dispatch quantities and products according to instructions.
• Determine optimal staffing levels for customer support agents based on current workload.
• Communicate any product stock or delivery issues to Customer Service Managers to maintain a seamless customer experience.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Generate reports using spreadsheets/Google Sheets (proficiency required).
• Report primarily to the Director and work closely with them on a daily basis.
• Demonstrate proactive thinking and maintain a positive attitude.
• Welcome ideas and suggestions while respecting existing policies and procedures.
• Strive for continuous improvement.
• Possess a keen eye for detail proficiency with numbers and punctuality.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (business management operations management supply chain management or a related discipline).
• 2 years of experience in operations supply chain and process improvement within an international set up.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Adaptability to new situations and effective time management for ensuring smooth operations and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
