Operational Financial Reporting Manager Reputable Hospitality

Our reputable MNC Client is looking for Operational Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur

About the role:

• Responsible for Hospitality management and financial reporting
  
• Formulate and review accounting processes/policies throughout the Company to ensure accounting and financial reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for control and management purposes.
  
• Direct preparation of budgets review budget proposals and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
  
• Provide management with timely reviews of organizations financial status and progress in its various activities and programs.
  
• Ensure business continuity and regulatory responsibility as well as adherence to all laws statutes and regulations of Malaysia
  
• Streamline and recommend improvements to the existing internal controls and accounting practices
  
• Coordinate monitor and to ensure continuous ISO certification for the Finance Department.
  
• Handle special/adhoc projects assigned from time to time.
  
• Working closely with the tax department to comply with all tax requirements and ensure timely tax submissions.
  

• A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
  
• Member of professional body (E.g. MIA ICAEW ACCA MACPA CPA ICAA).
  
• Minimum 6 years accounting experience and 1 year experience at managerial level.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  
• Meticulous highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
  
• Good interpersonal analytical and presentation skills.
  
• Experience in the industry is an advantage.
  
• Experience in ISO certification is an advantage
  
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel Powerpoint Words)
  
• Proficient in SAP is an advantage
