Unit Description Provide overview of unit, patient population, number of beds, common procedures, key technology, etc Pre-op for inpatient and outpatient surgeries including IV placement and assisting with peripheral nerve blocks, if needed. Also responsible for phase II discharge for outpatient surgeries. Includes Level II trauma, ICU, and PICU/peds. 32 bed unit including isolation rooms. Surgeries: orthopedic, GI/GU, gastric sleeves, TAVR, IR, pediatric, neurosurgery including craniotomies, vascular surgery, and cath lab. Utilize EPIC optime charting system. Non-Negotiables Describe necessary experience level, licensure, certifications, education PALS, ACLS RN Schedule Describe shift/schedule structure, floating requirements, call requirements, etc Shifts have variable start times. Pm shift traveler 5 days a week, Monday-Friday from 13-2130. Am shift traveler 4 days a week, Monday-Friday variable from 530-1500. 1-8 hour call shift required on Saturday or Sunday during a 4 week scheduling period. Call shifts are weekend 6-1400 or 1330-2130. Float to areas within module PPU and Roseview SDS, stage II in Tahoe PACU or pre-op depending on experience (all peri-op float areas). No call requirement
