Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose patients, including monitoring vital signs and updating their patient files/charts.
Advise patients on general and preventative methods to prevent illness or disease from occurring.
Order lab tests when needed and review the results with patients.
Prescribe medications for patients as required.
Perform consultations with patients to ascertain their illness and symptoms.
Assist with the provision of surgical care.
Monitor and report the effectiveness of interventions.
Ensure staff, family, and patient decision-making by providing in-depth expert knowledge and recommendations.
Make prompt referrals to other healthcare service providers when needed.
Work in line with patient safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines at all times.

Requirements
Masters degree in nursing
Two years experience in a supervisory or managerial nursing role
Relevant Nurse Practitioner license in state
Demonstrated knowledge of medical equipment and drugs and how to safely administer them
Demonstrated ability to notate and provide reports on service and care levels
Strong educational ability and the ability to influence and mentor patients and other medical staff
Strong team working abilities
Strong attention to detail skills
Kind, caring, and professional in nature
Able to give clear and concise instructions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
