Start Date: June 2024 July 2024 August 2024 May 2025

Caseload: Kindergarten 12^th Grade; up to two school sites; up to fifty students. Mileage Reimbursement for travel between school sites.

We are currently hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to service our students for the Upcoming School Year.

The ideal candidate is energetic collaborative and an experienced speechlanguage pathologist. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to therapy evaluations IEP development and teacher consultation.

This position will be fulltime working with students in the selfcontained noncategorical classrooms and general education inclusion classrooms.

Preferred candidates will have experience with oralmotor skills childhood development PECS and ABA/VB strategies. Speech Language Pathologist s provide an exemplary educational program for students with and without special needs.

Performance Responsibly:

Conducts speechlanguage screenings for students with suspected disabilities.

Analyzes and interprets information to make recommendations regarding speechlanguage services.

Plans and implements evidencebased interventions appropriate for individual students.

Provides consultative services to teachers parents administrators and allied agencies to integrate speechlanguage goals into the classroom other educational programs and the home environment.

Assures placement of students in the speechlanguage program and develops and implements speechlanguage goals/objectives on individualized education plans according to established due process procedures

Requirements

Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

CFYs are encouraged to apply and will be considered (supervisor provided)

Must have the ability to apply for a SLP license in the state of Illinois and be ASHA certified.

PEL certification required before the beginning of the assignment.
