Night Shift Extrusion Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate Extrusion line startup; keep extrusion process under control; monitor the extruder and the auxiliaries for alarms and high filter pressure.
• Equipment troubleshooting; escalate issues not resolvable in autonomy; carry out weekly line preventive maintenance.
• Operate Die changeover.
• Adhere to production schedule and quality standards; record and analyze production data; complete quality audits and fillout related paperwork.
• Interact with all levels of management other production positions and other departments. Communicate production and mechanical issues effectively. Report production data to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing (preferably extrusion) running a process.
• Must possess a high level of mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated problemsolving ability and high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
• Must be able to read write and speak English.
• Basic computer experience.
