Mandatory Technical Skills
1. Excellent understanding of Fundamentals of Networking with advanced troubleshooting skills
2. Strong routing (L3) troubleshooting skills involving Cisco environments.
3. Strong switching (L2) troubleshooting skill involving Cisco environments.
4. Demonstrated experience with network management tools for event, performance and configuration management.
5. In depth knowlegde and Hand on experience on common networking protocols including: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPC, HSRP, and VRRP.
6. Proficiency in communicating technical issues to Network Engineering team and escalating to network vendor for technical assistance.
7. Experience with Network Debugging and Packet Analysis / Inspection / Capture including but not limited to:
8. Experience with the following Networking vendors/technologies: Cisco (ASR9K, Cat9ks, Aruba 8325, 6300 and 7200 Wireless controller)
9. Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision making skills
10.Ability to work in a fast paced environment
11. Excellent written and oral communications skills
12. Should be ready for occasional on call and SmartHands support
