NET Web Developer

Candidates must be current residents of Wisconsin or relocate prior to start at their own expense. 95% remote (within the State of WI) and 5% onsite with notice.

Our client is looking for a .NET Web Developer. This position will work to support and enhance existing web applications. The project is underway and include .NET MVC web applications with heavy use of JavaScript jQuery Kendo UI C# Entity Framework and SQL Server components.

Tasks

• Work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application.
• Requirements analysis & design.
• Frontend and backend web application development & testing
• Participation in interactive code reviews and development using JavaScript JQuery Kendo UI ASP.NET MVC with C# and SQL Server.
• Expectations for this position are development of quality code following coding standards participation in active code reviews sharing expertise respectful communication transparency technical documentation and the ability to perform production support.
• May work on other projects as needed.
• Candidates must provide their own equipment for remote work.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

• The candidate should be able to work independently and know when to ask for help.
• Preference will be given for familiarity with TFS continuous integration and solid coding experience.
• The candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a team player.
• Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation and communication.

• 8 years JavaScript KendoUI & JQuery strong technical mastery is mandatory.
• 8 years Application development expertise in .NET MVC with C# strong technical mastery is mandatory. JavaScript JQuery Bootstrap C#
• 8 years MS SQL Server & SQL Client Tools strong technical mastery is mandatory.
• 8 years Full stack development experience Entity Framework.
• 8 years Experience with .NET application and web application design patterns.
• 8 years Documenting technical requirements and design
• 8 years Requirements analysis
• 8 years Experience using CSS and HTML and writing JavaScript based responsive HTML 5 applications.
• 8 years Experience with the full SDLC and knowledge of project management principles.
• 8 years Experience performing unit and smoke tests.
• 8 years Experience with Bootstrap.
• 8 years Experience with IIS
• 2 years Dataflow and structure modeling.

• Familiar with TFS & JIRA
• Prior experience with Financial applications development
