- Coordinate Better Work Jordan’s intervention to build the capacity of labour inspectors in the Ministry of Labor through the Secondment Programme, training to labour inspectors in coordination with ILO experts and in alignment with ILO Labour Inspection Convention No. 81.
- Apply Quality Assurance/ Quality Control system to evaluate the secondment programme.
- Supervise the team delivering Core Services to RoO factories, and deliver Core Services to the factories when necessary.
- Promote and mainstream gender equality throughout the project implementation.
- Coordinate the project timely implementation, monitoring and evaluation in cooperation with Programme Manager and Programme Officer, including provision of technical and administrative supervision to the project team and consultants in line with the ILO policy, rules and regulations and according to the final project document and workplan.
- Maintain close cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Labour, employers as well as relevant stakeholder including factories in the planning and implementation of activities under the project.
- Identify problems, propose solutions and action and follow-up with BWJ team, relevant departments at headquarters and regional office, government offices, constituents and other organizations to identify synergies, expedite implementation and meet targets.
