Role and Responsibilities:
As a Motor Design Engineer/Sr. Engineer you will be responsible for generating specifications for new product development (NPD) projects to expand our product catalog. Your main duties will include planning NPD projects creating specifications for electrical subsystems optimizing performance tailored to product requirements developing strategies and tools for electromagnetic FEA analysis controlling document revisions realizing prototypes and training new resources. You will also be required to estimate design costs and manhours to determine product costs.
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in motor/generator design. Strong knowledge of electromagnetic FEA analysis NPD processes and electrical subsystem design will be essential.
