Middleware Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing developing and implementing middleware solutions using Java and other relevant technologies.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle including planning coding testing and deployment.
• Integrating different systems and applications through middleware technologies for seamless data flow.
• Configuring and troubleshooting middleware components to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborating with other teams to understand requirements and providing technical expertise in middleware integration.
• Performing regular maintenance and updates to ensure the security and performance of middleware systems.
• Monitoring and optimizing middleware performance to meet the organizations requirements.
• Documenting the design operation and troubleshooting procedures for middleware solutions.
• Participating in DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Resolving complex technical issues related to middleware infrastructure and applications.
• Managing and maintaining middleware platforms and associated tools.
• Implementing automation and scripting for middleware tasks.
• Ensuring compliance with best practices standards and regulations in middleware development and integration.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in middleware development integration and support.
• Proficiency in Java JEE or other middleware technologies.
• Strong understanding of middleware concepts patterns and best practices.
• Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning of middleware systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
• Certifications in middleware technologies such as Oracle WebLogic IBM WebSphere or Red Hat JBoss (preferred).
• Experience with cloudbased middleware solutions (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards in middleware development and integration.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Shell scripting.
