Job Description
What you will do
Work tightly with the development team to incorporate API, structural, integration, regression functional and non-functional testing processes and tools;
Design test cases, Write API/UI test scripts; Exploratory testing; Execute regression testing; Bugs verification;
Documents software defects, track the issues and works towards resolution;
Production deployment support and incident support.
Must haves
3+ years experience as Automation Quality Assurance Engineer;
Strong understanding of the quality assurance approaches;
Understanding of QA and AQA process, on development, CI/CD and Jira levels;
Experience with test automation and tools such as Java with Selenium, Postman, TestNG etc;
Experience with API testing is a must;
Java and OOP knowledge;
Understanding of clean code principles;
Strong knowledge of Stream API;
Design patterns;
Tools:
Gradle, TestNg, RestAssured, AssertJ;
Understanding of: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System
Testing, Unit Testing;
Self-motivated, independent and high-performance individual.
Nice to haves
Testing asynchronous systems;
MQ testingRelational / Non-relational DB testing;
Experience with source control and automated deployment tools, specifically Git and Jenkins;
Knowledge of the data exchange formats like JSON, etc;
Great English level and communication skills for working in an agile distributed team.
