- Accountable for dealing with and preserving close bonds with the founders of the brand or suppliers.
- Manage the inventory control teams cost control and merchandising budget.
- Conduct market research, examine current trends and purchasing patterns, and forecast future trends.
- Create product strategies and planfor assortments for offline, online, and wholesale markets while assisting brand goals.
- Set the retail price to generate the best possible levels of sales and profits.
- Every time a seasonal order is placed, create and maintain a storyboard, and update the products ETA.
- Developing an item master in advance of stock arrival and updating the New Arrival List for the respective department.
- Plan and organize the shipping strategy in close collaboration with the inventory control and finance teams.
- Make sure stocks are promptly booked into the warehouse by collaborating closely with the logistics and warehousing team.
- Together with the brand team, plan, coordinate, and carry out tradeshows connected to the brand.
- Participate in supplier or brand principal selection meetings.
- To produce reports whenever the brands principle or suppliers want it.
- Conduct regular branch visits to report on the results about the products.
- Execute any ad-hoc duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Min a diploma, advanced/higher/graduate diploma, degree in business/marketing, or an equivalent.
- Min 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Excel (Pivot table & V-lookup).
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.
- Strong analytical abilities, a high level of creativity, and the capacity for original thought.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, optimistic, and able to operate in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and coordinating abilities.
- Committed, goal-oriented, and able to operate under pressure.
- Posses the ability to think critically and solve problems successfully is necessary.
