You Can Expect:

• 80% Clinical 20% Administrative

• MF; No Weekends No Major Holidays except on call

• Team 5 MDs and 5 APPs; 1:1 goal

• Call 1:7 Hospitalist for inpatient admissions

• Satellite office rounding

• Comprehensive labs with same day turnaround

• EMR: Clinic – Varian Hospital – Cerner

• Strong support from executive leadership including physician leadership training programs

Administratively:

• Supports leads and models the vision mission and values of Centra

• Provides strategic system leadership for Centra Hematology Oncology Clinic

• May oversee and provide evidencebased process improvement recommendations to ensure quality of care

• Participates in the development of policies and guidelines (clinical and administrative) to correct and improve service to the Client/Community

• Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology Oncology

Lynchburg General Hospital is recognized nationally for its oncology cardiac and neurosciences programs as well as nursing. With 358 licensed beds it is an emergency and critical care center specializing in cardiology emergency medicine orthopedics oncology neurology and neurosurgery.
