Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our school as a General Mathematics and Mathematics Methods Teacher for Years 11 and 12. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality instruction in both General Mathematics and Mathematics Methods courses preparing students for their final examinations and future academic pursuits. This role requires a passion for mathematics education strong pedagogical skills and the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons in General Mathematics and Mathematics Methods for senior high school students.
• Develop comprehensive unit plans instructional materials and assessment tasks that align with the Malaysian national curriculum and examination requirements.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported motivated and encouraged to explore mathematical concepts and problemsolving techniques.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work including assessments assignments and projects to guide their learning and academic progress.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe orderly and conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues department heads and school administrators to develop and implement curriculum enhancements assessment practices and extracurricular activities related to mathematics education.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress academic performance and any concerns or challenges that may arise.
• Stay updated on current trends research and best practices in mathematics education through professional development activities conferences and workshops.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics Mathematics Education or a related field. A teaching certification is required.
• Previous experience teaching General Mathematics and Mathematics Methods at the senior high school level preferably in an international or Malaysian curriculum setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with students parents and colleagues.
• Proficiency in instructional technologies and educational resources for delivering engaging and interactive mathematics lessons.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and support the diverse needs of students including those with varying levels of mathematical proficiency and language backgrounds.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development as a mathematics educator.
• Knowledge and experience with student management information systems (iSAMS SIMS etc.). Level 1 Google Educator (Desirable)
