Maintenance Technician 1

• Troubleshoot maintain and repair equipment disassembling and reassembling machinery overhaul gearboxes replace bearings bushings etc
  
• Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment based on a prescribed schedule
  
• Troubleshoot evaluate and make recommendations during regular inspections
  
• Assist facility maintenance as needed including all aspects of building structure and utilities
  
• Proactively develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
  
• Complete and coordinate with department heads all repairs as necessary to offset downtime and production delays
  
• Train others with less technical knowledge based on his/her area of expertise
  
• Assist in leading maintenance projects and initiatives
  
• Assist with the organization and inventory of spare parts
  
• Maintain a clean and well organized maintenance room
  

• High School Diploma or GED and/or years of industrial maintenance experience
  
• Maintenance experience working in a manufacturing operation (eg soap cosmetics food commercial bakery or similar)
  
• Basic electrical and mechanical experience
  
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a proactive and solution focused manner including keeping management ware of potential issues
  
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly motivated team
  
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and operate under significant time pressure
  
• Demonstrated ability to learn on the job and quickly solve problems
  
• Familiarity with FDA regulated industry highly desired
  
• Fastpaced learner problemsolver and selfstarter comfortable operating in a rapidly changing startup environment
  
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly desired
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Interest in health and wellness personal care and/or eCommerce industries
  
• Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
