Maintenance Supervisor - Day/Aft. rotation - Stratford

Maintenance Supervisor PERMANENT Day / Aft. rotation

PAY: $70K to $76K + benefits Day 1 + bonus

LOCATION: Stratford, Ontario

Qualifications:

* Mechanical or Electrical maintenance knowledge
* Knowledge in robotics and automated weld processes
* Automotive manufacturing experience an asset
* Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, electrical, PLCs, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, nut welding / projection welding
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Leadership experience
* Ability to mentor technical staff and foster growth through collaboration and team building
* Knowledge of / experience in clamshell /assembly, parts fit-up, and shimming or adjusting tools to build quality conforming parts
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Safety-first attitude
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and 5S
* Experience in product launch an asset
* Computer literate with MS Word and Excel
* Willing and able to work assigned shift as required

Duties:

* Mentor technical services staff and facilitate growth of knowledge and skills through collaboration and team building
* Support and champion company goals (i.e OEE improvements, 5S, quality, etc.)
* Co-ordinate maintenance activities between technical staff and contractors
* Support technical staff in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
* Help foster proper escalation during significant downtime events
* Attend meetings and facilitate the flow of information from shift to shift
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
