Financial Business Analyst with Xero experience

We are looking for Business Analyst from Finance domain with experience working on Xero projects.

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts between the leadership team and the technical team supporting projects on specialist financial performance, monitoring, reporting, and analysis.

In this role, you will also provide specialist input and support for the delivery of effective budget development and forecasting services, including providing high-level maintenance and development services and support for assigned accounting systems.


Requirements:


  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary professional team to undertake projects and contribute to deliverables that support the specific scope and initiatives for finance functional areas.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans and delivery schedules to achieve established milestones, timelines and objectives.
  • Assist in the research, analysis, and evaluation of the organisation s financial data, reporting, and digital management requirements and provide advice to inform recommendations and solutions to achieve desired objectives and best practice outcomes.
  • Support the design, testing, implementation, and change management procedures for new innovative business intelligence deliverables for finance functional areas.
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
  • Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization

Essential requirements:


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications Commerce, Finance or Accounting
  • Extensive experience working on Xero tool is mandatory
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks with a competing deadline
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
