This is a remote position.

Philippinebased (Filipino) Applicants Only.

Expected Start Date: First week of January 2024

The role will be split up between help desk (level 1 and level 2) clientfacing tickets and tasks as well as internal projects and clientfacing projects. You will be working closely with the director of the business and will be working to collaborate on tasks and implementations.

As the business is growing we need an experienced independent worker to help manage the workload. The workload will consist of Help Desk Tickets and Tasks followed by clientfacing project work (the director of the business will hand off specific tasks with instructions) followed by internal projects and documentation updates.

Soft Skills required:

  • Communication must have a high level of communication both written and verbal
    o
    Staff members won t be on the help desk to begin with but eventually they will be the first in line for clientfacing phone calls and tickets.
    o Prior call answering and a professional telephone manner are a must
  • Escalation must be able to ask for help when they get stuck. We want to train staff and show them how to do things however they also need to make sure they re comfortable in reaching out when they get stuck
    o
    For any help desk or project task there is a rule of spending 30 minutes trying to fix it and if you can t fix it you escalate it to me.
  • Documentation must show a keen appreciation of documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Troubleshooting the ideal candidate will show a clear troubleshooting methodology
  • Creativity we are always open to doing things better if the candidate sees something that we can do better I want them to raise it with me so we can review and implement their suggestions.


Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Windows 10 and Windows 11
    o
    Understanding of the operating system
    o Understanding of the differences between Home and Professional
    o Understanding of Azure AD joining and Azure AD / intune management of the operating system.
  • Microsoft Server Operating System
    o
    Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365
    o
    Exchange Online
    o Microsoft Teams / Sharepoint / OneDrive (not essential but an awareness is ideal)
    o Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
    o Azure AD / Entra
    Conditional Access Policies not essential but highly regarded.
    o
    Not essential but ideal Windows 365
    o Not essential but ideal Azure Networking and Virtual Machines
  • DNS and Domain management
    o
    A solid understanding of how DNS works.
    o Internal and External DNS.
  • Google Workspace
    o
    Gmail
    o Drive
    o User and Group Management
  • Mac OS X
    o
    Apple Business Manager
    o VPP
    o Application deployment via various MDMs
    o No essential but an awareness of the above would be ideal.
  • Understanding of SSO and SAML
    o
    Don t have to be technically experienced but need to understand the concepts of the technologies
  • Understanding of SIP
    o
    Don t have to be technically experienced but need to understand the concepts of the technology
  • Understanding of Networking
    o
    Not essential but an awareness of:
    o Layer 2 switching (VLANs)
    o Layer 3 routing (static routing etc)
    o Familiar with the concept of a firewall and network policies.
  • With MSP Experience is a great plus

Certifications not necessary but highly regarded:
Microsoft AZ900
Cisco CCNA
CompTIA A
CompTIA Network
CompTIA Security



Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: Php 50000
  • Salary will be paid on a bimonthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month
  • You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays
  • Probation: 6 months and after Probation:
    a. 10 days annual leave credits
    b. 5 days of sick leave
  • 13th Month Pay after 30 days
  • Annual Appraisal
  • Laptop provided after 30 days
  • Permanent workfromhome role. You will have to use your own internet.
  • SHIFT TIMES: 6AM to 3PM Philippine time Monday to Friday
