Experience, Education and Competency:
Minimum NQF Level 8 qualification (BA Honours) in relevant field
Experience in the field of 2D animation of a minimum of 2 years
Experience in classroom management and workshop facilitation skills in an academic or training environment of a minimum of 2 years
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in 2D tradigital animation (hand-drawn, frame-by-frame) and relevant software (preferably Adobe software suite, particularly Photoshop and possibly Adobe Animate (or similar 2D animation software)
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in 2D cut-out animation and relevant software (preferably Toonboom Harmony or similar)
Skills in either storyboarding, 2D asset creation/concept art (for games) or motion graphics is an additional
Must have a body of work that demonstrates competency in 2D
Collaborative and willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support
