Job Description
The L1 Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hardware components of desktops, laptops, and workstations. This role is critical in ensuring minimal downtime for our clients and providing them with optimal system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues for laptops, desktops, and workstations.
- Perform hands-on repairs at the component level, including motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, GPU, etc.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Respond to customer inquiries, guiding them through corrective steps.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance adhere to company standards and protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest technical specifications and compatibility of various hardware components.
- Document all actions, tests, and repairs efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an L1 Engineer or similar role in hardware maintenance.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, motherboards, and other components.
- Technical expertise in diagnosing and fixing hardware issues.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical issues.
- Formal technical education or certification in computer hardware or a related field is an advantage.

Proven experience in channel sales or a similar role. Strong understanding of the IT enterprise hardware distribution industry. Ability to develop strong relationships with partners and internal teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Formal education in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
