Job Title: Solar Energy Technician / Solar Electrician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Energy Technician to install maintain and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with solar electric systems and a commitment to advancing clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install inspect and maintain solar PV systems including panels inverters and mounting structures
Troubleshoot electrical and performance issues in solar energy systems
Ensure compliance with local codes and standards (NEC OSHA etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
Collaborate with engineers project managers and other technicians to complete projects efficiently
Perform system testing and documentation for quality assurance
Provide customer support and education on system use and maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or relevant certification preferred (e.g. NABCEP)
Experience with solar PV installation and electrical systems
Knowledge of safety practices and electrical codes
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed electrician or journeyman certification
Familiarity with solar monitoring systems and software
OSHA 10/30 certification
