Job Description
construction project engineer plans coordinates and oversees construction projects to ensure they are completed on time within budget and according to specifications. They work with architects contractors and other stakeholders to manage resources resolve technical issues and maintain safety standards. Responsibilities include developing project plans managing budgets and timelines and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
Developing project plans schedules and budgets and managing resources.
Coordination:
Working with architects contractors and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned and informed.
Technical Expertise:
Providing technical guidance resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Safety and Quality:
Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget and Timeline Management:
Monitoring project costs and timelines and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Documentation:
Preparing and maintaining project documentation including reports and records.
Supervision:
Overseeing the work of contractors and subcontractors and conducting site inspections.
ProblemSolving:
Identifying and resolving technical issues as well as addressing potential delays or cost overruns.
Communication:
Maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders including project managers clients and contractors.
