Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in electrical design with a strong educational background in engineering. While a PE license is not required candidates should be on track towards obtaining licensure in the future. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects with a particular focus on larger scale multifamily developments that prioritize energy efficiency and allelectric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to develop electrical design solutions for commercial projects including multifamily residences hospitality venues restaurants breweries wineries retail spaces offices event spaces and building upgrades/conversions.
• Conduct electrical load calculations power distribution design lighting design and system layouts in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Assist in the preparation of technical drawings specifications and construction documents.
• Perform site visits and field investigations to assess existing conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Stay abreast of industry trends codes and regulations related to electrical engineering and sustainable design practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients architects contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15 years of experience in electrical design preferably in the commercial sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit or other design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes standards and regulations.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
