What is the opportunity about?
Chimera Technologies is a two-decade old software services organization primarily in the business of setting up offshore teams for its customers worldwide. A strong pipeline and an exponential growth in front of us, we are looking for a team lead in Java/springboot/rest api with experience in SQL/databases. Knowledge in FE technologies like Angular/Reactjs is also preferable. The individual will be responsible lead an Offshore team coordinating with the onsite (US) product team. The individual will be responsible for managing a team of backend developers and also program along with them.
Requirements
Total Experience of 9+yrs years with at least 1-3 years as team lead experience
Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming including programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.
Proficient knowledge in web frameworks and development
Proficient understanding of web technologies such as Spring Boot, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, etc.
Proficient in SQL, preferably on multiple platforms, and knowledgeable in relational and non-relational data storage
Experience with REST APIâs using JSON
Working experience in using Jira Or Azure DevOps
Hands on experience in GIT
Extensive experience working in agile/scrum teams
Experience in working offshore with onsite customers especially in the US is an added advantage
Will be responsible for handling a team of 2 developers in delivering the committed/estimated tasks in a sprint
Will be responsible for the quality of the delivery of their team members
Will be responsible as a team for the estimates/milestones provided to the customer
Will be individually responsible for his/her own tasks
Will be responsible to guide and mentor the programmers on their assigned tasks where needed
Will be responsible to initially get the KT of the application and hire and setup the team offshore.
Will be responsible for interviewing as a panelists
Will be responsible for ups killing their team members, perform their monthly/annual performance reviews
