For a permanent position at our client s site (home office possible within Switzerland), a mid-sized bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Java Solution and Integration Engineer.

In this exciting role, you will actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle mainly focusing on requirements engineering, software design, and development activities for the Bank s existing and new mobile applications.

Tasks

• Responsible for the middleware and backend applications and microservices
• Developing integrated solutions for middleware and backend applications and preparing the solution design documentation
• Completing development tasks for change initiatives and projects on time
• Providing designs specifications and also developing backend services as an SME with stakeholders
• Collaborating with production support and operations teams for Troubleshooting production software and bug fixing

Requirements

• Many years of experience in backend Systems & Java development with EE/Spring
• Know how of messaging tools as well as designing and implementing ESB/Middleware solutions and applications integration
• Knowledge of software design patterns as well as microservice (MSA) architecture and web technologies with SOAP and REST
• Experience with Java applications servers such as WAS, JBoss, Tomcat, and relational databases
• Profound knowledge of common networking, infrastructure, operating systems, and security fundamentals
• Knowledge of FE development and javascript frameworks is an advantage
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
