Job Description

The HR Learning and Development Specialist/Manager is responsible for designing implementing and overseeing training and development programs within the organization This role involves collaborating with various departments to assess training needs creating effective learning strategies and ensuring the continuous development of employees to meet organizational goals

Key Responsibilities

  1. Training Needs Assessment

    • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps
    • Work closely with department heads and team leaders to understand specific training requirements
  2. Training Program Design and Development

    • Design develop and implement training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives
    • Utilize various instructional design methodologies and technologies to create engaging learning experiences
  3. Training Delivery

    • Facilitate training sessions workshops and other learning initiatives
    • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts or external trainers as needed
  4. ELearning and Technology

    • Leverage technology to develop and deliver elearning courses
    • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative learning solutions
  5. Performance Management

    • Support performance management initiatives by identifying training opportunities that contribute to employee growth and development
    • Align training programs with performance improvement goals
  6. Employee Onboarding

    • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
  7. Evaluation and Feedback

    • Establish mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
    • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to make continuous improvements
  8. Learning Culture Promotion

    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization
    • Promote and communicate the value of ongoing learning opportunities
