We are exclusively looking for an HR Business Partner with a passion for Life Science for the Flemish Institute for Biotechnology - Centre for Inflammation Research. You will be based in the VIB-UGent Center for Inflammation Research, located in the bustling Tech Lane Ghent Science Park, Zwijnaarde.

Job Description

Expect an international environment within the non-profit sector with many internal and external stakeholders. The research center is buzzing with energy and science, with around 400 employees working here.

Your responsibilities lie mainly within soft HR. Here you get autonomy and initiatives are mostly appreciated.

  • Employee Life Cycle from inflow, throughflow to outflow
  • Welcoming policy, coaching new employees, students, and trainees
  • Learning & Development
  • Talent Acquisition & Management
  • Drafting communications, both in policies and copywriting for the website
  • Co-organizing incentives, events, conferences, etc.
  • Liaison and point of contact for HR

As HR Business Partner, you will join a dynamic HR team. You work closely with colleagues and report to the HR & Finance Coordinator.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills, you can express yourself fluently both in writing and orally in Dutch and English.
  • You like to organize and structure, you work in a planned way.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and inspiring.
  • Above all, you are someone who likes to roll up your sleeves and knows how to get things done.
