All-round HR Advisor to manage the HR services in France. Challenging job for an HR professional who is ready to manage all HR services in France within an international matrix organization. Responsible for 60 employees in France.

As HR Advisor you are part of our European HR Group from which we provide HR services to 14 countries and 950 employees. We provide services like HR advisory, labour relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits, labor law advice and HSE. You will be working from our office located in Heudebouville.

We are seeking an HR Advisor (managing all HR services in France):

As the HR Advisor you are responsible for advising management in France. Our French organization consist of a sales organization headquartering in Vincennes and a Production site located in Ecoparc Heudebouville. This means you will be working with employees in various positions, from sales to production to support positions like finance. You will support and advise the (line) managers on the broad spectrum of HR services. The HR Advisor also supports the Country Manager and the Plant Manager in France to ensure compliance with local laws and requirements, including frequent cooperation with works councils and union representatives.

You are customer centric, have strong stakeholder management skills and are equipped with a broad range of HR knowledge in France. This fulltime role is a great opportunity for a passionate HR professional who has the drive to develop further towards the next level of HR Advisory in an international environment. You will report to the Country Manager France with a dotted line to the Vice President HR.

Key projects:

For the upcoming year we have defined the following key projects for our French organization.

  • Conduct an HR Audit to identify our gaps in HR practices; prioritize and implement actions to ensure we uphold our competitiveness in key HR practice areas
  • Implementation of changes resulting from the new National Collective Bargaining agreement metallurgy including the implementation of the revised job classification
  • Initiate teambuilding activities and general wellbeing actions to ensure we keep our employees engaged.
  • Actively participate in our European HR projects like our corporate onboarding program or our AAF training Academy.

Key tasks:

  • Consult and advise management to realize the key business goals
  • Handle all kind of individual employment related cases
  • Labor relation management with country managers, works council and union representatives
  • Advise managers on occupational health issues
  • Recruitment: interviews with candidates and employer branding
  • Consult and handle country specific C&B topics, such as C&B package, salary adjustment process and pension
  • Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/University degree in HR
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in HR, ideally in multinational environments
  • Excellent English and French language skills required, written and verbal
  • Knowledge of the specific labor market and knowledge and practical application of C&B and labor law in France
