Today we are seeking a Cat Scan Tech for our client in Henderson NC.

This client will partially pay your relocation. The client does offer a bonus and its disbursed as a 10k commitment bonus paid over 2 years. up to 5k in Relocation.


The Must Haves for this role is as follows:

Must be ARRT registered.

Willing to take call duty

Prefer prior hospital experience


In this role

Youll perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Youll report to: the Director of Imaging/Radiology

Review patient history and physicians orders.

Educate patient regarding procedures equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation.

When ordered youll prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.

Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.

Prepare equipment and supplies.

Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.

Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

Troubleshoot resolve and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.

Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s).

Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.

Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

Enter transmit and report scan results.

Effectively utilize the Electronic Health Record

Be prepared and be on Call as assigned on a as needed basis

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Minimum Education:

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology

ARRT registered in Radiology

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire.

Required Skills:

This position requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
