Designation: Head Plant Operations

Location: Tamil Nadu

1. Experience: Minimum 20 years in Fabrication industry. Should be fully conversant with Plate rolling operation Different welding processes (SAW SMAW GMAW GTAW FCAW) Material handling with EOT/Gantry Manufacturing processes Machine shop expertise Indian/International material and production standards and aligning production flow depending on the equipment. Clean Quality and Safety record is mandatory. Working and implementation knowledge of 5S Kaizen JIT TQM. Should have handled 200 work group.

Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Additional certification in Welding NDT Manufacturing Processes Plant maintenance and Industrial Safety preferred.

Reponsibilities:

1. Study Tech specs Drawings & applicable standards. Devise suitable production process/flow
2. Co ordinate with Client/TPI/QC/QA for suitable development of QAP/ITP WPS PQR
3. Prepare manufacturing schedule and align with client/delivery requirements
4. Identify and assign resources plant & equipment manpower consumables etc
5. Prepare composite monthly weekly and Daily work Plan along with resources deployment
6. Allocation of work to different work bays / team to get optimum output
7. Manage Supervisory and On the job work manpower.
8. Assign align and manage Shift operations
9. Ensure timely availability of all input materials and consumables
10. Ensure congenial work relationship with all departments and within Production department
11. Ensure 100% work place safety of all assets including manpower
12. Ensure 100% compliance to Quality
13. Interact with Client / TPI for in process inspection and final clearance
14. Manage sub contractors outsourcing agencies
15. Co ordinate with Maintenance for effective implementation of Preventive maintenance
16. Quick close out of break down maintenance. Avoid down time.
