About the job
Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the investment wealth management products and services division, aligning it with the Bank’s overall business goals/ strategy.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective product management, expanding the investment offering, increasing assets under management, and generating revenue from various fee-based services.
- Oversee the performance of existing investment products, making adjustments as needed to meet client objectives and manage risk.
- Lead the development, enhancement, and management of investment products and services, ensuring they meet the needs of various CB segments and institutional investors.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks within the investment wealth management landscape.
- Foster strong relationships with institutional partners, and key stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions align with the clients’ needs.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to investment products and services.
- Liaise with other departments, such as Private Banking, retail banking, Treasury, AB Invest, ABS and risk management, to ensure alignment and integration of investment wealth management offerings with broader bank’s objectives.
- Ensure robust risk management framework, identifying and assessing to mitigate risks associated with the bank’s investment risk appetite.
- Collaborate with the investment committee to review and approve new product offerings.
- Develop marketing strategies and promote WM Products and services, including presentations, sales materials, and client communications.
- Oversee the financial performance of the investment product offering, ensuring it meets profitability targets.
- Prepare and deliver performance reports, presentations, and updates to the DCEO and the Investment Committee.
- Develop and maintain up to date MIS and analytics, monitoring for trends/opportunities and performance against stated objectives.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to WM offering, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Apply critical thinking to analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement, make strategic recommendations and determine a rational & effective solution.
- Oversee the development of WM platforms to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly interfaces that cater various CB segments and markets, enhancing the overall client experience.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA, CAIA, CFA preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, or related financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
