Glow25 is now another very successful brand in the Primal family a collagen company that is setting new standards in the well aging market. We are looking for an experienced dynamic and forwardthinking Head of Innovation and Product Development / Head of Portfolio Strategy to join our rapidlyexpanding company. The key functions of this role are to serve as the owner of our portfolio innovator and scientific expert behind the formulation of all of our Glow25 products and to offer continuous support in the development of current and future products.

Reporting directly to the Director Brand this position will be responsible for elevating the companys product offerings to better serve our Glowies. You will play an integral role in establishing the companys product strategy and roadmap both within our current category and in new categories. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who assesses and takes calculated risks in order to push innovative boundaries.

This is where we need your support:

Strategic portfolio leadership and innovation:

• Focus on strategy and vision: Lead the development of our portfolio strategy ensuring it aligns with our companys vision. Focus on creating innovative customercentric products that stand out in the global markets.
• Idea generation / conceptualization: Drive the ideation and conceptualization of new products and enhancements on existing ones making sure they are based on scientific innovation and clearly differentiate us in the market.
• Feasibility analysis: Assess the viability of new product ideas including potential market success and return on investment. Develop strategies for product development in international markets ensuring Glow25s global relevance.

R&D:

• Focus on product creation and development: Establish and manage the R&D process for new products from inception to launch ensuring a focus on scientific innovation market needs and regulatory compliance.
• Scientific innovation: Direct the formulation and development of new products and enhancements of existing ones to ensure that products meet the highest standards of efficacy and safety.
• Prototyping / testing: Manage testing phases including organizing prototypes pilot runs and consumer testing. Analyze feedback and adjust product formulas or concepts accordingly to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Datadriven decision making:

• Partner with Research to expand our understanding of key ingredients pushing the boundaries of beauty and wellness.
• Use big data analytics to gather and interpret customer surveys market research and competitor data. Convert complex data into actionable insights that drive product innovation and strategic decisionmaking.
• Analyze market trends and consumer needs to forecast future opportunities. These insights will guide our portfolio strategy and prioritize new product development projects.

You have the following experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a product development role within Food Beverage supplement and cosmetics industry ideally within a company with a small to medium SKU portfolio.
• Scientific background in food technology or food science.
• Expertise in strategic portfolio management product development and market analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience in a similar leadership role with a track record of successful team management and project delivery.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills capable of pitching innovative ideas and strategies to senior management.
• Forwardthinking with a thing for anticipating industry trends and identifying future opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Science or related field; Masters degree preferred.
