We are seeking an exceptional individual with a passion for Mathematics to lead the Mathematics department and play an integral role in shaping the future of our students. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Maths department ensuring the delivery of an engaging and effective Maths curriculum
• Provide guidance and support to Maths teachers fostering a collaborative and positive teaching culture
• Monitor and assess student progress in Maths implementing interventions when necessary
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
• Mentor and support Maths teachers in their professional development
• Contribute to the schools Maths program and extracurricular activities
• Maintain accurate records of student assessment attendance and behaviour

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialization in Mathematics or a related field Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education (preferred) Extensive experience in teaching Mathematics preferably in a leadership role Deep knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team Strong communication organization and problemsolving abilities Commitment to continuous professional development and staying uptodate with the latest trends in Mathematics education
