Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends opportunities and potential
threats in the pharmaceutical sector.
Develop a strategic business development plan for the Pharma Division aligned with the
companys overall objectives.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical
industry including manufacturers regulatory bodies and key decisionmakers.
Collaborate with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide
customized solutions.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
Evaluate and negotiate partnerships collaborations and distribution agreements to expand
the Pharma Divisions portfolio.
Work closely with the sales marketing and product development teams to align strategies
and ensure seamless execution of new business initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to customize product offerings and services to meet the
specific needs of pharmaceutical clients.
Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical
industry.
Ensure that all business activities within the Pharma Division adhere to industry regulations
and quality standards.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Pharma Division and regularly monitor
and report on the divisions performance.
Provide timely and accurate reports to senior management on new business development
activities achievements and challenges.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Chemistry Pharmacy or a related field.
10 Years of Experience in Sales & marketing of chemicals & allied industries.
Team leading exposure of 510 people
Preferred exposure of International markets
Well networked person in chemical industry
Exposure to commodity & specialty chemicals
Proven track record of successful business development in the pharmaceutical industry.
Indepth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes regulations and market
dynamics.
