Overview

As a Ground Staff member you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of airport and airline services. You will be responsible for assisting passengers and providing excellent customer service as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of various ground operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers with checkin baggage handling and boarding procedures.
  • Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings throughout the airport.
  • Coordinate with airline personnel and ground service providers to facilitate ontime departures and arrivals.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide information about flight schedules airport facilities and travel regulations.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Perform security screenings and adhere to aviation safety regulations.
  • Assist with aircraft turnaround activities such as marshalling towing and ground handling.
  • Collaborate with the ramp and operations teams to maintain a safe and organized airport environment.
  • Conduct preflight and postflight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness.
  • Operate ground support equipment such as tugs tractors and baggage carts in a responsible manner.
  • Participate in emergency response procedures and provide assistance during unforeseen circumstances.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in designated work areas and passenger facilities.
  • Adhere to company policies procedures and industry regulations at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of crowd control measures and queue management strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in customer service or airport operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a customercentric approach.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and proficiency in regional languages as per the airport location.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy luggage when required.
  • Basic understanding of aviation security protocols and safety procedures.
  • Capability to work in rotational shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
  • Familiarity with computerized reservation systems and airportspecific software is advantageous.
  • Outstanding teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Customeroriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to uphold high service quality and operational standards.
  • Willingness to undergo security clearances and background checks as per regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and operational demands.
