Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer general anaesthesia for surgical and other medical procedures
• Monitor patients vital signs before during and after anaesthesia
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Manage patients airways and ventilation during anaesthesia
• Assess patients medical history and develop anaesthesia plans
• Provide emergency care in case of anaesthesia complications
• Utilize anaesthesia equipment and medications effectively
• Document and maintain accurate anaesthesia records
• Participate in medical rounds and discussions
• Supervise and train anaesthesia assistants and students
• Follow hospital protocols and guidelines for anaesthesia care
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized anaesthesia work environment
• Stay updated with advances in anaesthesia practices
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialization in Anaesthesiology
• Valid state medical license and board certification
• Proven experience in providing general anaesthesia in a hospital setting
• Ability to make quick and sound decisions in emergency situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of anaesthesia equipment and technology
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
